How the Presidential Cannabis League Works

The Presidential Cannabis League is a fan league from Presidential. It borrows the shape of a pro sports season and fills it with cannabis products: every Presidential pack is a player, and every strain is a team. There are 30 teams, 80 player cards, two conferences and one 82-game regular season.

It works differently from fantasy football or other fantasy sports leagues. Fans don't draft a roster or set a lineup each week. Each team's roster is the set of packs Presidential makes in that strain, and every result comes from a real game.

A team's players are its packs, and every pack plays one of five positions. The Blunt is one 1.5g Moon Rock blunt. The Pre-Roll is one 1g Moon Rock pre-roll. The Mini Blunt is three 0.7g Moon Rock mini blunts, 2.1g in all. The Mini Pre-Roll is three 0.5g Moon Rock mini pre-rolls, 1.5g in all. Moon Rocks is one jar of Moon Rocks.

Every player has its own card on the players page, where you can filter all 80 cards by conference, division, team or position.

Each of the 30 teams is matched to a real pro team and plays that team's real 82-game schedule. When a real game ends, its final score becomes the final score of the Presidential Cannabis League game. Every win, loss, streak and standing in the league comes from those results, and nothing is simulated or voted on.

Each game has its own page with the line score by quarter, game information, the season series between the two teams, and both rosters. The scoreboard shows every game, live and final.

The 30 teams are split into the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. Each conference has three divisions, and five teams play in every division.

The Eastern Conference has the Atlantic, Central and Southeast Divisions. The Western Conference has the Northwest, Pacific and Southwest Divisions.

Each team name pairs a Presidential strain with a team nickname.

Atlantic Division: Rainbow Belts Raptors, NYC Diesel Nets, Nino Brown Knicks, Head Cheese Celtics and Strawberry Sixers. Central Division: XJ-13 Pacers, Pink Cookie Pistons, King Louis Cavaliers, Cap Junky Bulls and Whoa Si Whoa Bucks. Southeast Division: Cereal Milk Magic, Wedding Cake Wizards, Presidential OG Hornets, Cherry Gelato Heat and Ghost Train Haze Hawks.

Northwest Division: 24K Nuggets, Blue Dream Blazers, Crescendo Jazz, God's Gift Thunder and White Walker Wolves. Pacific Division: XXX Warriors, SFV OG Lakers, Gorilla Goo Kings, Cosmic Cookie Clippers and Waui Suns. Southwest Division: Papaya Punch Pelicans, Galactic Gas Rockets, Skywalker Spurs, Blue Raspberry Grizzlies and Peach Mango Mavericks.

Opening night was October 20, 2026. Every team plays 82 games, and the regular season runs through April 11, 2027. The league takes the Presidential All-Star Break from February 19 to February 21, 2027, then the race for the playoffs picks up where it left off. Every regular-season result counts in the standings.

Standings are updated with the completion of each game. You can view them by league, conference or division, and switch to expanded standings, records against division opponents, or Presidential Cup standings.

The team stats page shows each team's scoring, taken straight from the final scores: games played, points per game, opponent points per game, average point differential, points per game in each quarter, and the most points in a game.

The Presidential Cup is the league's in-season tournament. Every team plays Cup group games during the regular season. The group winners and wild cards move on to the knockout rounds, and the last two teams standing play for the Presidential Cup. Cup standings post when the first Cup game tips off.

The top six teams in each conference go straight to the Presidential Playoffs. Teams seeded 7 through 10 in each conference meet in the Presidential Play-In for the last two playoff spots.

The playoffs have sixteen teams, eight from each conference, playing best-of-seven series. Win four games and move on. The Eastern Conference champion and the Western Conference champion meet in a best-of-seven series in the Presidential Finals for the Presidential Trophy.

When Presidential releases a new pack, that product signs with the league as a rookie in the Rookie Draft and joins its strain's team, with its own signing story and player card.

Every week, fans pick their favorite pack in the league for the Fan Favorite award.

The scoreboard has every game with scores by quarter. The schedule lists every game, arena and result for the full 2026-27 season, and each team page has its next game, results, roster and division standings. League news covers game recaps, signings and Hall of Fame inductions.

This site has cannabis-related information for adults 21 and over where legal. The packs in the league are real Presidential products, and availability varies by licensed retailer. To find licensed retailers near you that carry Presidential, enter your ZIP code on the Find a Store page.

The Rose Gold Connoisseur Series is Presidential's top tier, built on flower, live rosin and diamonds. Its five teams entered the Presidential Cannabis League as the Hall of Fame's Inaugural Class, and every one of them plays a full season: the Cereal Milk Magic, Cosmic Cookie Clippers, God's Gift Thunder, Wedding Cake Wizards and White Walker Wolves.

The Presidential OG Hornets carry the company's own name and nothing else on the pack: no partner mark, no flavor, just the crest. The same crest is on every Moon Rock, every Moon Pod and every Orbit.

Partner strains wear two names: Presidential's and the partner's, printed on the front of the pack. Seven partners have teams in the Presidential Cannabis League: ROVE, VLADTV, Ball Family Farms, Polaris Cannabis, Nature's Chemistry, Top Shelf Cultivation and TRENDI, powered by Planet 13.

Eight teams play in Presidential's classic packaging: the Nino Brown Knicks, Head Cheese Celtics, Ghost Train Haze Hawks, Cap Junky Bulls, Whoa Si Whoa Bucks, Blue Raspberry Grizzlies, Strawberry Sixers and Peach Mango Mavericks. Every other team plays in the new pack line.
