SFV OG Lakers Beat Crescendo Jazz 132-123
Crescendo opened with 47 points at Three Modes Arena, but SFV OG answered with a 45-point second quarter and stayed perfect at 3-0.
Crescendo is supposed to start quiet. On Sunday the Crescendo Jazz came out at full volume, and SFV OG still walked out of Three Modes Arena unbeaten.
The Crescendo Jazz poured in 47 points in the first quarter and led 47-29 at the first break. The SFV OG Lakers did not blink. They answered with a 45-24 second quarter that flipped an 18-point hole into a 74-71 halftime lead.
The third quarter was a dead heat at 29-29, leaving SFV OG in front 103-100. The SFV OG Lakers then took the fourth 29-23 to close out a 132-123 win.
Three games, three wins.
SFV OG is 3-0, on a three-game streak and alone in first place in the Pacific Division. Crescendo falls to 1-2, fifth in the Northwest Division, with a one-game skid. The SFV OG Lakers take the season series 1-0 in this first meeting of the Presidential Cannabis League season.
Neither team waits long. Crescendo hosts the Blue Raspberry Grizzlies on Monday, and SFV OG returns home Tuesday to face the Blue Dream Blazers.

Two rosters worth the trip
Both of these Gold Strain Series teams travel light, with the same two-player lineup: a 1.5g Blunt and a 1g Pre-Roll. That makes the shopping list short and the request easy.
The trick is naming the format. The Arizona guide to asking for a pre-roll by its exact name says to give the store the full product name and say pre-roll, since the same name can also sit on the shelf as a blunt. Pre-rolls come in paper, and blunts come in a tobacco-free hemp wrap.
Both names also turn up beyond the rolled packs. Oklahoma's list of every name on the Gold strain roster carries Crescendo and SFV OG side by side, and Gold names can appear as Moon Rocks jars and minis too.
What's inside
SFV OG goes for lemon, pine and earthy diesel on top of live resin and diamonds. The Valley postcard on the pack wears its hometown on its sleeve, and the jerseys spell out 818, with 81 on the Blunt and 18 on the Pre-Roll.
Crescendo builds on THC Design flower carried with live resin and diamonds, and its reported profile runs from earthy diesel into berry and citrus. The Blunt wears 16 for the sixteenth note and the Pre-Roll flips it to 61. SFV OG is marked Hybrid, and Crescendo is marked Sativa.
