NYC Diesel had the lead after one quarter. XJ-13 had everything after that.
The NYC Diesel Nets edged the opening quarter 26-24 at Moon Rocks Garden before the XJ-13 Pacers found their rhythm. A 41-30 second quarter sent XJ-13 into the break up 65-56.
Then the XJ-13 Pacers ran away with it. XJ-13 won the third 37-24 to stretch the lead to 102-80, added a 34-29 fourth and finished off a 136-109 rout. Over the final two quarters the visitors outscored the NYC Diesel Nets 71-53.
XJ-13 moves to 2-1, second in the Central Division, and has won one straight. NYC Diesel drops to 0-3 and sits fifth in the Atlantic Division after a third straight loss. The XJ-13 Pacers own the season series 1-0.
The schedule keeps rolling. XJ-13 visits the Whoa Si Whoa Bucks on Monday, and NYC Diesel goes on the road Tuesday to face the Head Cheese Celtics.
