Head Cheese never let this one breathe.
The Head Cheese Celtics won the first quarter 33-21 at Premium Craftsmanship Center. The Cap Junky Bulls could only trade baskets in the second, a 33-33 quarter that left Head Cheese up 66-54 at the half.
The third quarter ended the suspense. Head Cheese outscored Cap Junky 39-21 and turned a 12-point lead into a 105-75 margin with a quarter to play. A 29-24 fourth closed out a 134-99 final, a 35-point win.
Head Cheese moves to 2-1 with two straight wins and holds second place in the Atlantic Division. Cap Junky drops to 1-3 with two losses in a row and sits fourth in the Central Division. Head Cheese leads the season series 1-0.
There's no rest for the winners. Head Cheese hosts the NYC Diesel Nets on Tuesday, while Cap Junky goes home to face the Nino Brown Knicks on Wednesday.
