Ghost Train Haze Hawks Edge King Louis Cavaliers 114-111
King Louis jumped out early at Moon Rock Blunt Arena, but Ghost Train Haze took over after halftime and held on to end a three-game slide.

The King Louis Cavaliers owned the opening quarter. The Ghost Train Haze Hawks owned the middle of the game, and that turned out to be enough.
King Louis raced out to a 28-16 lead at Moon Rock Blunt Arena. Ghost Train Haze flipped the second quarter 30-16 and walked into the locker room ahead 46-44.
Then came the third. Ghost Train Haze piled up 43 points, the biggest quarter of the night by either side, and carried an 89-82 lead into the fourth.
King Louis would not go quietly. The visitors took the fourth 29-25 and chased it to the horn, but Ghost Train Haze hung on for a 114-111 win.
The result snaps a three-game skid for Ghost Train Haze, now 3-3, second in the Southeast Division and up 1-0 in the season series. King Louis slips to 3-2, still second in the Central Division, as its three-game winning streak ends.
Both teams play again Saturday. Ghost Train Haze travels to the Papaya Punch Pelicans, and King Louis heads to the Whoa Si Whoa Bucks.

Royal numerals and a Halloween number
Thursday's game was a meeting of two partner packs in the Presidential Cannabis League. King Louis is Presidential's collaboration with VLADTV, Ghost Train Haze is its collaboration with Nature's Chemistry, and each partner gets its name or mark on the front of the box.
The jerseys go their separate ways. King Louis numbers its roster from the history books, with the Blunt in 14 for Louis XIV and the Pre-Roll in 16 for Louis XVI.
Ghost Train Haze reads the calendar instead. Its Pre-Roll wears 31 for Halloween night, which is exactly when the team takes the floor next. The Blunt wears 13, and the Moon Rocks jar wears 15 to match the 1.5g on its label.
Names carry stories the same way numbers do. A guide to the many sources of a strain's name counts place, cultural references and creative themes among them, right beside parentage and aroma.
What's inside
King Louis keeps a two-pack roster in New Pack Line boxes, the Blunt at 1.5g and the Pre-Roll at 1g, both wearing the Gold Strain Series patch. Both are flower, live resin and diamonds, both marked Indica, and the profile is old-school OG: pine, lemon and earth over a pronounced fuel note.
Ghost Train Haze rides the Presidential Line in classic packaging. Nature's Chemistry flower carries distillate and wears a kief finish across three packs, a Blunt and a Moon Rocks jar at 1.5g apiece plus a Pre-Roll at 1g, all marked Sativa, with reported citrus, pine and spice.
That kief has to stick to something. A look at coating versus deeper saturation in infusion explains that concentrate sitting at the surface can work as the adhesive that holds the kief in place.
On both rosters, the Blunt rolls in a tobacco-free wrap and the Pre-Roll uses rolling paper.
