The tone was set early. Galactic Gas put up 35 in the first quarter and led 35-26, then edged the second 27-25 for a 62-51 halftime cushion.
God's Gift could not find a run. Galactic Gas won the third 30-24 to go up 92-75 and closed with a 27-23 fourth.
Galactic Gas moves to 6-1, second in the Southwest Division, and bounces back from a loss with this win. God's Gift falls to 4-2, second in the Northwest Division, after a second straight defeat. Galactic Gas wins the first meeting of the season, 1-0.
Monday, God's Gift visits the King Louis Cavaliers, and Galactic Gas stays home to face the Head Cheese Celtics.

God's Gift skips all of that. Its own page says the name describes how the strain is regarded rather than what it tastes like.
Its Hall of Fame plaque is even shorter about it: no flavor, just an arrival.
