NYC Diesel finally has one. The NYC Diesel Nets led after every quarter at Smart Heat Center and beat the XJ-13 Pacers 98-90 for their first win of the season.
The visitors took the opening quarter 20-19 and the second 23-21 for a 43-40 halftime edge. The third is where it opened up, as NYC Diesel won it 28-22 and carried a 71-62 lead into the fourth.
XJ-13 took the final quarter 28-27, but a 9-point hole after three was too deep to climb out of.
NYC Diesel moves to 1-5 and sits fifth in the Atlantic Division. XJ-13 drops to 2-5, third in the Central Division, with four straight losses. The result squares the season series at 1-1 after XJ-13 won the first meeting.
There is no rest on Monday. NYC Diesel visits the Nino Brown Knicks, and XJ-13 hosts the Ghost Train Haze Hawks.

Go get the Gold
Both of these Presidential Cannabis League teams come out of the Gold Strain Series, so the hunt starts in the same aisle. The Arizona roster of strain-led Gold names lists NYC Diesel and XJ-13 side by side and notes that Gold names come as Moon Rocks, pre-rolls, blunts or compact minis, with each store deciding which names it stocks.
NYC Diesel has a natural home court for shopping. Presidential is carried at dispensaries across the five boroughs, from Manhattan to Staten Island, and every one of them is independently owned, so ask for the product by its exact name.
XJ-13 brings the deeper menu. With all four positions on its roster, a shopper can grab one roll or a three-pack, in hemp or in paper.
What's inside
NYC Diesel suits up two players, both flower, live resin and diamonds and both marked Hybrid. The Blunt holds 1.5g inside a tobacco-free wrap, while the Pre-Roll is 1g rolled in paper. Presidential pitches it on contrast, a bright citrus nose over a deeper diesel character, and the pack stands Lady Liberty in front of a giant moon.
XJ-13 is marked Sativa and carries the same build through the 1.5g Blunt, the 1g Pre-Roll, a pair of three-packs: 2.1g of hemp minis at 0.7g apiece and 1.5g of paper minis at 0.5g apiece. The pre-roll pack prints Jack Herer and G13 Haze as its parentage, and Presidential calls the profile citrus-forward and clean.
