Same Numbers, Different Reasons
Look at the backs of the jerseys and this Presidential Cannabis League game turns into a mirror. Both Blunts wear 13. Both Pre-Rolls wear 31.
The reasons could not be further apart. XJ-13 treats its numbers as a formula, with the Blunt taking 13 straight from the name and the Pre-Roll flipping the digits. Ghost Train Haze gave its Pre-Roll 31 for Halloween night, which suits a pack where ghosts drift through the smoke around a black steam train.
The rest of the rosters split off from there. XJ-13 keeps the lab theme with an 11 on the Mini Blunt and a 3 on the Mini Pre-Roll. Ghost Train Haze puts 15 on its Moon Rocks jar.
What's inside
The night train comes from the Presidential Line, made with Nature's Chemistry and sold in the classic pack, and all three of its players are marked Sativa. The blunt page pairs Nature's Chemistry flower with distillate and a kief finish and reports citrus, pine and spice. In the inside-out guide to infusion, Presidential notes that the concentrate also works as the glue that holds the outer kief layer on.
XJ-13 is also marked Sativa but runs a different recipe, starting from THC Design flower and adding live resin and diamonds. Its blunt page reports citrus, lemon and pine, and the parentage on the pre-roll pack reads Jack Herer and G13 Haze. As Washington's cannabis-first Gold roster explains, Gold names lead with the strain and let the art build around it, and the molecule on the XJ-13 pack does just that.
