God's Gift won one quarter at Presidential Vault Arena on Monday. That was enough for a 117-112 win over the King Louis Cavaliers.
King Louis came out sharp and took the first quarter 30-26. Then God's Gift Thunder flipped the night with a 33-18 second quarter, turning a 4-point hole into a 59-48 halftime lead.
The hosts pushed back hard. King Louis poured in 36 in the third, won it 36-31 and cut the margin to 90-84, then edged the fourth 28-27. The second-half rally finished 64-58 in its favor, and still came up 5 points short.
One quarter decided it.
God's Gift moves to 5-2, second in the Northwest Division, and snaps the two-game skid that ended with the loss at Galactic Gas on Saturday. King Louis falls to 4-3 and sits second in the Central Division.
There is no time to settle in. The two meet again on Wednesday, November 4, at Highest Form Arena, with God's Gift up 1-0 in the season series.

Rosin Against Resin
This Presidential Cannabis League matchup put two different oils on the same floor. God's Gift runs flower, live rosin and diamonds, and its blunt page notes that the rosin is pressed out using cold water, heat and pressure rather than any chemical solvent.
King Louis carries the Gold build of flower, live resin and diamonds. Live resin also starts from a harvest frozen right away, but it is extracted cold in a closed-loop hydrocarbon system, so the two oils share a frozen starting point and split at the extraction step.
The tiers split too. Nevada's guide to the Rose Gold series frames it as a small connoisseur roster with a refined metallic cue, set apart from the broad, cannabis-first Gold family King Louis plays in. Both teams finish with diamonds.
What's inside
God's Gift suits up two Legends, both marked Indica. The 1.5g Blunt wears 1 and the 1g Pre-Roll wears 7, under art of a golden temple on the clouds with doves overhead and gold running like honey. Presidential says the name speaks to how the strain is regarded rather than to a flavor, and the same name also comes loose in a jar.
King Louis answers with its own pair, a collaboration with VLADTV and marked Indica. The Blunt wears 14 for Louis XIV and the Pre-Roll wears 16 for Louis XVI, and its blunt page describes a classic OG lean, with pine, lemon and earth up front and a pronounced fuel note behind them.
Both Blunts come in tobacco-free wraps, and both Pre-Rolls are 1g in paper. The page on how a blunt differs from a joint lays out why that matters: the thicker hemp wrap holds more material, while thin paper keeps the build lighter.
