The Nino Brown Knicks won the fourth quarter 28-11 at Rock Club Arena on Monday and pulled away from the NYC Diesel Nets 103-90 in an Atlantic Division meeting.
Nino Brown controlled the first half, taking the opener 27-21 and leading 51-44 at the break. Then NYC Diesel caught fire, pouring in 35 in the third and winning it 35-24 to go up 79-75.
The fourth belonged to the home side. Nino Brown held NYC Diesel to 11 points across the final quarter and turned a 4-point deficit into a 13-point win.
Nino Brown moves to 3-4 and sits fourth in the Atlantic Division. NYC Diesel, coming off its first win of the season, falls to 1-6 and fifth. In their first meeting this season, Nino Brown goes up 1-0.
Neither team travels on Wednesday. Nino Brown hosts the Cap Junky Bulls, and NYC Diesel welcomes the Presidential OG Hornets.
