Rainbow Belts saved everything for the fourth quarter, again. The Rainbow Belts Raptors scored 47 in the final period at Moon Pod Center on Monday and stormed past the Cosmic Cookie Clippers 125-118.
For three quarters, this belonged to Cosmic Cookies. The hosts took the first 33-22, matched Rainbow Belts 30-30 in the second for a 63-52 halftime lead, and won the third 28-26 to go up 91-78.
Then the fourth arrived. Rainbow Belts won it 47-27, wiping out a 13-point deficit and pulling away for a 7-point win.
The fourth-quarter fireworks are becoming a habit. One night earlier, Rainbow Belts put up 43 in the fourth at SFV OG and came up short. This time the rally finished the job.
Rainbow Belts moves to 4-3, third in the Atlantic Division. Cosmic Cookies falls to 1-6, fourth in the Pacific Division, and has now lost six straight. Rainbow Belts leads the season series 1-0 after the first meeting.
Rainbow Belts visits the 24K Nuggets on Wednesday, November 4, and Cosmic Cookies hosts the Cherry Gelato Heat.

Resin on One Side, Rosin on the Other
These two Presidential Cannabis League teams start and finish the same way, with flower at the core and diamonds on the outside. The middle layer is where they part.
Rainbow Belts carries live resin, the Gold Strain Series oil. Cosmic Cookies carries live rosin, the Rose Gold oil, and Presidential's own blunt page says the appeal is the recipe itself.
Rosin takes patience. Presidential's explainer on the screen-by-screen rosin wash describes washing fresh-frozen cannabis in ice water, running it through bags from 220 microns down to 25 and pressing the freeze-dried hash. It also notes that a micron number marks a screen's opening size, not a grade.
That is the connoisseur lane, and shoppers chasing it can start with the New York stores grouped for Rose Gold, where Presidential sorts the listed blunt sellers by region.
What's inside
Rainbow Belts fields two players marked Indica: a 1.5g Blunt wearing 7, one for every color in the rainbow, and a 1g Pre-Roll wearing 77. The blunt page reports sweet fruit and citrus with a diesel edge, all under ribbons of rainbow candy wrapped around a full moon.
Cosmic Cookies answers with two Hall of Fame Legends marked Hybrid. Number 42 goes to the hemp-wrapped Blunt and 24 to the paper Pre-Roll, and the art is a nebula in full bloom, with cookies drifting like asteroids and gold dripping off the frame.
