Skywalker Spurs Beat Crescendo Jazz Again 119-97
Skywalker won the third quarter 35-20 at Orbit Arena for a fifth straight win and a 2-0 lead in the season series with Crescendo.
Skywalker keeps climbing. The Skywalker Spurs blew the game open with a 35-20 third quarter at Orbit Arena on Monday and beat the Crescendo Jazz 119-97 for their fifth straight win.
The hosts set the tone early with a 27-16 first quarter. Crescendo won the second 33-32, but that only trimmed the gap to 59-49 at halftime.
Then the third quarter turned a game into a runaway. Skywalker poured in 35, won the quarter by 15 and carried a 94-69 lead into the fourth. Crescendo took the last quarter 28-25, far too little and too late.
Skywalker moves to 5-2, third in the Southwest Division. Crescendo falls to 1-6, fifth in the Northwest Division, and has lost five in a row. After the overtime win on October 28, Skywalker now leads the season series 2-0.
Skywalker stays home to host the Peach Mango Mavericks on Wednesday, November 4. Crescendo heads to the Papaya Punch Pelicans.

Rolled Versus Loose
This Presidential Cannabis League pairing runs the same Gold recipe through its rolls: flower, live resin and diamonds. The interesting split comes when the rolls are left out.
Skywalker's Moon Rocks jar follows a different label from its rolls. The mini blunt page notes that the jar is flower and distillate, finished with kief. Washington's three-stage Moon Rocks guide explains what that looks like in the jar, with the kief giving Moon Rocks their frosted outside.
Crescendo also comes loose in a jar, which its pre-roll page offers to shoppers who would rather break up their own.
The rolls themselves follow how an infused paper roll is built: flower and concentrate together inside rolling paper. Both teams' Pre-Rolls take that route, while their Blunts and Skywalker's Mini Blunts move the same build into tobacco-free hemp.
What's inside
Skywalker is a ROVE collaboration with all four positions, every pack marked Indica. Its minis come three to a pack, 0.7g each in hemp for 2.1g in all or 0.5g each in paper for 1.5g in all. Every jersey carries a 7, from 77 on the Blunt to 70 on the Mini Pre-Roll, under art of silver astronaut gear and a palm-lined city.
Crescendo keeps a pair, a 1.5g Blunt wearing 16 for the sixteenth note and a 1g Pre-Roll wearing 61, both marked Sativa. Presidential describes the Pre-Roll as layer upon layer, composition rather than noise, and the lettering draws a crescendo mark into the middle of the name.
